Hotpoint electric oven error code F01

While operating our Hotpoint electric oven the error code F01 came up and started flashing. The oven was switched off for a few minutes and then switched on again. It now appears to be working but we are not sure if the temperatures are correct. Is it now OK or should we get it looked at.

Hi Derek, This error message means the touchpad or control panel, also called clock or ERC, is defective.
